In August 2017, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles began issuing a new, more secure Florida driver license and ID card. We provide all driver license services at all three of our public branches, except the following services: Road Skills tests are provided only at our Northwest Branch, and CDL Hazardous Materials Applications are provided only at our Southwest Branch. Florida residents from any County may receive driver license and motor vehicle services at any of our branches. The Alachua County Tax Collector is an agent for the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
